Attractions

Old Tomball Honky Tonk, The Smallest Little Honky Tonk in Texas

The Old Tomball Honky Tonk at 110 North Oak Street is billed as the smallest honky tonk in Texas, tucked inside a little green barn in Old Town Tomball. It was created by local songwriter Michael Dean Pierce Jr., owner of Cloud Chief & Co., who couldn't find a venue for his own music and decided to build one. The tiny room is packed with character: hand-drawn show posters, neon signs, old gas station memorabilia, vintage ads, black leather booths and a famous gold-painted toilet funded by the community. The focus is on original music, a rootsy mix of honky-tonk, blues and storytelling the owner calls the "Tomball Sound." It's not a daily bar; shows are held about once or twice a month, usually on Saturday nights, and are announced on social media. Most shows are free or donation-based and first come, first served, so arrive early. Bluebonnet Tasting Room is across the street.
