Discover Wayne Stovall Sports Complex
The Wayne Stovall Sports Complex at 600 North Cherry Street in Tomball is the city's youth baseball hub, used primarily by Tomball Little League, which operates and maintains the baseball fields and facilities. It's named for City Council member Wayne Stovall, who served from 1999 until he passed away unexpectedly in office in 2004. Known as "Mr. Tomball," he was active in many civic groups and grew up practicing on the town's only Little League field. Today the complex has multiple numbered baseball fields, and the city has been investing in improvements, including new field lighting completed on fields 5 and 7 and upgrades authorized for fields 3, 4 and 8, according to Community Impact. Visiting families are most likely to be here for Little League games and tournaments, and Old Town Tomball's restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream are a short drive away between games. See the City of Tomball's page for details.
