Discover Jerry Matheson Park

Jerry Matheson Park is a 10-acre city park at 1240 Ulrich Road, across from Juergens Park, named for the late Tomball City Council member Jerry Matheson. It's one of Tomball's most active family parks. A large wooden interactive playground is the centerpiece for kids, with a small pavilion and six shaded picnic tables nearby, along with barbecue pits and benches. Sports facilities include four lighted, fenced tennis courts, four lighted, regulation-size pickleball courts that can be reserved and a small pee-wee baseball field with bleachers that's available first come, first served. The park is also home to the Jerry Matheson Public Pool and Splash Pad, which is open in summer. There are 56 parking spaces, including five accessible spots. Pavilion and court reservations are handled by the Public Works Department. Pair a visit with Juergens Park across the street for a walking track and more playgrounds.
