Las Piñatas Kitchen

Las Piñatas Kitchen is a family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurant at 1231 Alma Street, Suite A, in Tomball. Owner and head cook Jose and his family cook from three generations of recipes: tortillas are pressed by hand and cooked on the comal every morning, birria simmers for hours and salsas are made fresh daily. Signature dishes include a cheese-smothered burrito and bacon-wrapped shrimp, along with birria tacos and sizzling fajitas. On weekends, a brunch buffet runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with chilaquiles, menudo and an omelet bar, and Friday through Sunday evenings the kitchen offers cenaduría favorites like gorditas, sopes, pozole and tamales. There's a private room for birthdays and family celebrations, and military guests receive a discount with ID. Dine in or order online for pickup or delivery; the restaurant says online orders have no markup. It's a short drive from Old Town Tomball.
