The Empty Glass

The Empty Glass is a wine bar at 104 Market Street on the Tomball Historic Depot Plaza, with a rustic Old Town atmosphere. Owner Dana's vision is to highlight Texas wines and educate guests about the state's wineries, and the menu lists about 135 wines, more than 100 of them by the glass, from Texas and around the world. Bottles and wine-related items are available to buy, and a small food menu of meats and cheeses, sandwiches, pizza and desserts is organized so even wine novices can find a good pairing. There are bottled beers for non-wine drinkers, too. The shaded outdoor patio is a relaxed spot to sip and watch the game, and an exclusive tasting room can be reserved for private gatherings. Every Saturday afternoon the bar hosts wine tastings and live music with no cover. The Empty Glass also has a wine club and hosts holiday and group parties.
