Honor Society Coffee Co. is a specialty coffee roastery and cafe at 105 Houston Street in downtown Tomball, run by a family of curious coffee lovers who have been roasting since 2013. Founder and "Chief Bean Maven" Billy Schiel keeps searching for spectacular coffees and creative ways to help people enjoy them together, and the cafe serves espresso drinks and brewed coffee made with the company's own roasts, along with bags of beans to take home. Honor Society is a member of the Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce. According to its website, the cafe is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and it's closed on Sundays. Houston Street is in the heart of Old Town, a short walk from the Tomball Railroad Depot, the Tomball Information Center and downtown's antique shops and boutiques, so the cafe is a natural first stop on a morning of exploring.
