Copan Coffee Roasters is a small-batch coffee roaster at 716 South Persimmon Street in Tomball. Its story goes back to 1985, when two entrepreneurs started a family coffee business in the highland town of Santa Rosa de Copán, Honduras. Today Copan works directly with farmers through direct-trade practices and roasts its coffee fresh in Tomball, offering Honduran originals, single origins, blends and decaf. The Tomball location includes the Copan Coffee Lab, open weekday mornings and early afternoons, where visitors can stop in for a cup and pick up freshly roasted beans, merchandise and brewing gear. The company also ships online, so you can reorder your favorite once you're home. A bag of locally roasted coffee makes a great take-home souvenir from Tomball. Persimmon Street is just south of Old Town, a short drive from Main Street's shops and restaurants.
